A Safe Place to Think, Feel, and Grow

Being a teenager is tough — especially in today’s world. Whether it’s school pressure, anxiety, identity struggles, or just feeling overwhelmed, sometimes young people need a space that isn’t school, isn’t home, and isn’t therapy — but something in between.

A Safe Place offers holistic, one-to-one mentoring for teenagers who need time, support, and space to be themselves. Sessions are tailored to each young person — sometimes we talk, sometimes we create, sometimes we solve problems together. My approach is grounded, empathetic, and completely shaped around the needs and personality of the individual.

This is a space for:

  • Teens who feel stuck, stressed, or unsure of who they are

  • Creative thinkers and deep feelers

  • Neurodivergent young people needing support on their own terms

  • Anyone looking for encouragement, tools, and a non-judgemental listener

Whether your child is struggling, thriving but sensitive, or somewhere in between — this is a place to land, process, and move forward with confidence.

“Mentoring sessions are personalised for each young person. We might talk, create, plan, play, reflect, or explore — depending on what feels most helpful. My role is to offer a consistent, non-judgemental space that supports emotional wellbeing, creative expression, and personal growth.”

What Happens in a Mentoring Session?

Every session is different, because every young person is different. Together, we might:

  • Explore emotions or challenges through conversation or journaling

  • Use creative tools like drawing, sculpture, or collage (if it feels right)

  • Set small goals or make action plans

  • Work on confidence, motivation, and identity

  • Try grounding techniques or calming strategies for stress

This is not therapy or tutoring — it’s mentoring: purposeful, supportive, responsive.

Sessions are available in-person (Cambridge area) or online, and typically last 50 minutes.
